Each pair is formed by twisting two insulated conductors together, with four pairs making up the core unit, separated by a cross filler. To ensure durability and protection against outdoor elements, the core is sheathed with flame retardant HDPE and jacketed with UV Stabilized FRLS, PE, or LDPE material.
